Kurt Daluege – Game of thrones in the Third Reich
Fascinating podcast where I introduce one of the most influential yet lesser-known Nazi leaders: Kurt Daluege.
He was an SS officer, head of the Uniformed Police (OrPo), and ultimately succeeded Heydrich in Prague after his assassination, becoming his avenger.
This is an intriguing episode to uncover the tactics Kurt Daluege employed to stay in power amidst the conflict between the SD and Gestapo.

The Abwehr. The German Military Intelligence. The origin 1921-1935 (1st part)
Here I recount the early years of the ABWEHR, from its inception after WWI until the arrival of Wilhelm Canaris to lead it.
This is a little-known episode but very interesting to understand the evolution it underwent during the difficult 1920s with the Weimar Republic and the early years of the Third Reich.
The Abwehr. German Military Intelligence. The Abwehr Bares Its Teeth 1935-1939 (2nd part)
In this audio, I explain how the following 4 years unfolded, right up to the outbreak of WWII, and the important role Wilhelm Canaris played in scenarios such as Spain, Poland, Austria, and Czechoslovakia.
With these 2 podcasts, I give you a very extensive idea of what the intelligence service that the Wehrmacht would use in WWII was like.

Wilhelm Canaris – From sailor to Spy (1905-1923)
It is a review of the life of Wilhelm Canaris, mainly from when he entered the German Navy, his wartime experience during WWI and the Weimar Republic, to the early years of coexistence with Hitler’s new National Socialist government.
It is an excellent contribution to understanding the head of the Abwehr, regarding how he approached the German political change and how he implemented his strategy to refine the German intelligence service.
